Ruthie is a local portrait photographer who has lived and worked in Titirangi for the past 15 years so she knows all the beautiful secret spots from Titirangi to Piha. She works from her studio in Lopdell House for Headshots/personal branding and on location at our beautiful beaches for family shoots, weddings, engagements and elopements.

Ruthie Stoffels has also spent over 20 years working in the Film and Television industry as a make-up artist both here and in the UK where she worked at the BBC and on many commercials with celebrities, politicians and musicians.

This experience as a make-up artist is her point of difference as she does your make up, hair and styling in her studio getting you camera ready before photographing you.

Ruthie is passionate about helping people and feels that with good lighting, direction and a sense of humor everyone can have an incredible portrait of themselves. She works with both individuals needing headshots and bigger companies needing the whole team photographed, and has worked with many lawyers, practitioners, engineers, actors, artists, tradies, teachers and everyone in between.

She also loves photographing families and couples, capturing the love between parents, kids, grandparents and pets, She is the mother of 3 boys so very used to organic chaos, believing it creates laughter which then brings the magic.
