Welcome to a new way to connect and grow!

Your People Are Closer Than You Think

You don’t have to look far to find business owners who get what it’s like, the highs, the hustle, the late-night ideas, and the early-morning coffee-fuelled dreams.

Across Aotearoa, Business Collectives are popping up in towns and cities where connection, collaboration, and community matter just as much as strategy and growth. These local crews are full of energy, ideas, and people who want to see each other win.

No matter where you’re based, there’s a good chance your kind of people are already gathering nearby, and if they’re not yet, maybe it’s time you started one and built your local community.

What’s a Business Collective Anyway?

Think: your go-to crew of business pals, coffee catch-ups that spark real ideas, and events where you actually want to stick around and chat.

Each Collective is locally led, super supportive, and tailored to the vibe of its community.

No boring icebreakers. No pressure to pitch. Just real talk, real connections, and a whole lot of good energy.

Not Your Usual Networking Group

Let’s be real, most networking events feel a bit awkward. Forced intros, surface-level chats, and pressure to pitch your business. That’s not our vibe.

At Business Collective, we’re all about genuine connection. Our events are relaxed, welcoming, and built around real conversations , the kind that actually lead somewhere. You’ll meet people who get what it’s like to run a business, chase big goals, and want to see others succeed too.

What Makes Us Different

Each Collective is locally led by someone who truly understands the community they serve. We’re not here to compete, we’re here to collaborate, support, and grow together.

While every group has its own local flavour, we’re all connected through a national network that brings shared resources, fresh ideas, and a sense of something bigger. When you join a Business Collective, you’re not just finding your local crew,  you’re plugging into a movement.

We are a local business community where you can show up as yourself and speak openly about the highs and lows of business.

I have a few questions!

Who can join Business Collective NZ?

We welcome business owners, freelancers, and professionals from all industries. Whether you’re a solo operator, run a small team, or are just getting started, if you're passionate about your business and keen to connect with others, you’ll fit right in.

What happens at a local Business Collective meeting?

Our Collectives meet every two weeks in a relaxed and friendly environment. Each session includes casual networking, group discussions, and a spotlight session where one member shares their business story.

It’s about real conversations, mutual support, and learning from one another, without the formality or pressure.

How is Business Collective NZ different from other networking groups?

We put people before pitches.

At Business Collective NZ we are all about building genuine relationships, not just swapping business cards or adding pressure to refer and have 1:1 sessions.

Our members celebrate each other’s wins, support each other through challenges, and collaborate to create real, local impact. All members are local too, hence they truly understand your community, your customers, and the unique challenges you might face.

It’s community-driven, grassroots, and full of heart.

How do I get involved?
